The Missal The Word of God

It is a liturgical and pastoral aid offered by Editorial Paulinas. It contains all the prayers, readings, rites, and instructions necessary to celebrate the Holy Mass throughout the liturgical year. It serves as a guide, especially for the priest who officiates the celebration and also for people who wish to follow and actively participate in the Eucharist. The Missal is also a prayer book that allows people to pray with the Word of God every day and bring it to life.

• Order of the Mass: This is the set of prayers and rites that form the basic structure of the Eucharist according to the Roman Rite. This varies according to the liturgical season being celebrated.

It comprises six special moments: 1) Invocation to the Holy Spirit (prayer), 2) Reading of the Gospel text, 3) Meditation (reflection that illuminates the readings), 4) Internalization (questions that allow the reader to nourish their faith in the light of the readings), 5) Purpose (concrete personal commitment that the reader undertakes according to what has been read and meditated on), 6) Prayer addressed to Jesus (a plea in which the reader asks for the grace to bring the Gospel message into their life).
